FAQ:

Q: I’ve participated the last three years. Do those years count (2018 and prior)?
A: No, the series begins in 2019.

Q: Do I have to do the half marathon every year to qualify?
A: No, every event distance qualifies. You can choose to do the Kids Run, 5k, 10k or Half Marathon. This way, kids who start out in the kids run and develop into longer distance runners will qualify.

Q: Can I “make up” the race if I miss a year?
A: We understand things happen, we are currently assessing options for the make-up event, Recon Retread, to restart in 2022.

Q: What if I’m registered but I don’t finish?
A: The qualifications are based off of finisher results, so if you are not able to complete any of the races, you will not qualify. Bib swaps will be disqualified.

Q: How will I know if I qualify?
A: You must use the same name and birthday for us to keep track of you for all five years. Each year we will post a list of those who qualify. It is your responsibility to check to make sure your name is on the list and it is correct. Please email us if you have any name changes or errors in reporting (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). Even small changes, such as using an initial or suffix Jr. will interfere with this process. Bib swaps will be disqualified. If you are not on the final list and you have not verified your status, you will not receive the series medal at the 2024 event. We will have to verify after the event, and you will pick up your medal at a later date.
